Import Capital Gains from Apps (Coming Soon)

If you’ve traded in stocks, mutual funds, or ETFs, you can auto-import your capital gains directly from broker platforms.

When you connect your broker account, your trades are securely fetched, and capital gains are auto-calculated based on type (long-term or short-term), holding period, and applicable tax rules.

Steps to Add Capital Gains Income

1. Navigate to the Save Section

  • Go to the Save tab from your dashboard.

2. Edit Tax Situation

  • Click on Edit next to My Tax Situation to make updates.

3. Add Capital Gains

  • Under the Capital Gains card, click Add Capital Gains to get started.

5. Select the Broker: 
  • Based on the selected broker, choose to:
    • Connect your Broker by signing in to import transactions automatically.

7. View Capital Gains Summary

  • Your total Capital Gains or Losses will be displayed in the section.
  • The summary will reflect the taxable income and applicable tax treatment:
    • Short-Term Capital Gains (STCG)
    • Long-Term Capital Gains (LTCG)

  • Add other sources of income like salary, house property, or business
  • Compute your Advance Tax based on your overall income
  • Compare Tax Regimes to choose the most beneficial one
