Add Auditor Details

When filing your taxes, especially if a tax audit is applicable, adding your auditor’s details is a key compliance step. It ensures transparency and establishes the authenticity of the audit report as per regulatory requirements.

Steps to Add Auditor Details

  1. Go to File > Additional Details > Auditor Details
  1. Click on Add Tax Audit Details

    Provide the following:

    • Audit Acknowledgement Number (issued by the Income Tax Department upon acceptance of audit report)

    • UDIN (Unique Document Identification Number issued by ICAI)

    • Date of Furnishing and Date of Signing of the Audit Report

      Click Save after entering all details.

  2. Click on Add Auditor Details

    Fill in:

    • Name of the Auditor

    • Membership Number (issued by ICAI)

    • PAN

    • Firm/Proprietorship Name

    • Audit Firm Registration Number

      Click Save to proceed.

  3. Click on Add Auditor Address

    Enter the complete address of the auditor or audit firm and click Save.
