Add Foreign Other Sources Income

If you’ve earned income such as dividends from foreign stock holdings, interest from foreign bank accounts, or any other miscellaneous income from outside India, it must be reported under Other Income when filing your tax return.

Steps to Add Foreign Other Source Income

  1. Go to File > Other Incomes
  2. Select Other Foreign Incomes and click Add
  3. Choose the appropriate Type of Income:
    • Dividend – Income received from foreign stocks or mutual funds
    • Interest – Earnings from foreign bank deposits or bonds
    • Other – Any other income not covered above (e.g., royalty, pension, etc.)
  4. Enter the following Income Details:
    • Source Country
    • Amount Received
    • Description of Income
  5. Click Save to update your income details
