Add Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)
Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) is an indirect method of collecting income tax. It ensures timely collection of taxes and reduces the burden of a lump-sum payment at the end of the financial year. TDS is deducted by the payer (like your employer or a bank) and deposited with the government on your behalf.
How to Add TDS
Easily report TDS in your tax profile by following these steps:
-
Go to Save > Begin/Edit Tax Situation > Tax Credits > Add
-
Select Tax Deducted at Source and click Proceed

-
Enter the following details:
- Deductor Name
- Amount of TDS Deducted
-
Click Save once all the information is filled in correctly
Once added, the TDS amount will be reflected under your tax credits and automatically adjusted in your tax summary.
