Autofill Salary Income from ITD

You can auto-fill your salary from the Income Tax Department if your employer has deducted TDS and generated a Form 16. Details such as salary breakdown, including deductions, exemptions, and allowances will be imported.


Even if TDS doesn’t apply to you, as long as your employer has filed a TDS return, you can still autofill your salary details from the ITD.


Steps to autofill Salary:

  1. Navigate to File > Incomes > Salary

  2. Choose Autofill your salary from ITDChoose Autofill your salary from ITD
  3. Connect to ITD via Aadhaar OTP or credentials Connect to ITD

  4. Review the details imported and proceedReview the details imported
