While the Essential plan meets the needs of most users, the Elite plan is designed for those with more complex income situations. Here’s an overview of what the Essential plan covers and when you might need the Elite plan.

App Connections:

If you’re a full-time trader or actively involved in the stock market, you may reach the limits of the Essential plan quickly. Consider upgrading to the Elite plan if you:

  • Need more than 5 app connections
  • Have over 250 capital gains settlements
  • Use more than 4 F&O brokers

Incomes:

If your business turnover exceeds ₹1 crore or your taxable income is over ₹25 lakh, the Elite plan is a better fit for your needs.

Choosing the Right Plan

If you’re unsure which plan suits your needs, you can start by preparing your return. As you move to the e-filing stage, you will be prompted to upgrade to the plan that best matches your situation.
