Add Taxes Paid by You

Add Taxes Paid by You

Taxes paid by you include Advance Tax and Self-Assessment Tax.

  • Advance Tax is paid throughout the year in four installments, based on an estimate of your total tax liability.
  • Self-Assessment Tax, on the other hand, is paid after the financial year ends, typically when you're filing your tax return to cover any remaining dues.

You can find the details of these payments in your AIS (Annual Information Statement) or by logging into the Income Tax e-filing portal and downloading the payment challans from your payment history.
