Import Capital Gains using Investment Apps

Have capital gains from trading or investments? Whether you’ve made a profit or a loss, you can easily import your trade data and track your capital gains using integrated investment apps.

What Falls Under Capital Gains?

Capital gains arise from the sale of certain assets, such as:

  • Securities (Stocks, Mutual Funds, ETFs, Bonds, Debentures)
  • Real Estate (Land or building)
  • Crypto Assets
  • Other Capital Assets

Import Capital Gains from Investment Apps

You can connect your broker’s app to automatically fetch your capital gains data. We support integrations with many top brokers.

Steps to Import:

  1. Go to File > Capital Gains > Add Securities
  2. Click on Import from Investment Apps
  3. Select your broker from the list
  4. Click on Connect
  5. Login to your broker account
  6. Once connected, your trade data will be auto-imported and mapped to your Capital Gains section

Can’t Find Your Broker?

If your broker isn’t listed, no worries! You can still add your capital gains using one of the following methods:
