Pay Outstanding Challans

Pay Outstanding Challans

When making tax payments, there may be instances where a challan is generated but remains unpaid. These are referred to as Outstanding Challans (O/s Challans).

Paying Outstanding Challans:

  1. Locate Outstanding Challans:
    • If you start a tax payment but exit before completing it, an O/s Challan is generated.
    • Navigate to Pay to view any outstanding challans.
  2. Select the O/s Challan:
    • The pending challan amount will be displayed.
    • Click on the challan to proceed with payment.
  3. Make the Payment:
    • Choose your preferred payment method and complete the transaction.
  4. Payment Completed:
    • Once the payment is successful, the challan will automatically disappear from the list.
  5. Challan Expiry:
    • If left unpaid for 15 days, the challan will expire and be removed from the list.

Note: Outstanding challans generated on the Income Tax Portal (IT Portal) cannot be paid through Quicko. These must be completed directly on the IT Portal.
