Pay Self Assessment Tax

If you have any unpaid taxes after TDS and advance tax, you must pay self-assessment tax before filing your Income Tax Return (ITR).

Paying Self-Assessment Tax

  1. Navigate to Pay Module: Go to Pay > Pay Tax.
  2. Select Tax Type: Choose Self-Assessment Tax and select the relevant Assessment Year.
  3. Enter Payment Amount: Input the tax amount and click Pay.
  4. Verify via OTP: Complete OTP verification using your registered mobile number with the Income Tax Department (ITD).
  5. Make the Payment: Choose your preferred payment method and complete the transaction.
  6. Receive Confirmation: Once the payment is successful, you’ll receive a confirmation.

💡 If you’ve prepared your ITR in the File module, a suggested self-assessment tax payment will be displayed.
