Unable to read Form 16

Unable to read Form 16

If you're encountering the "unable to read Form 16" error while trying to add your salary, there are a few common reasons for this issue and probable solutions for it.

Why Form 16 may not be imported:

  1. The PAN mentioned in Form 16 does not match the user's PAN

  2. The Assessment year is different in Form 16

  3. Incorrect Format
If your Form 16 is not downloaded from TRACES or is an image format then it won't be compatible. Only TRACES generated Form 16s are supported.
