Upload Capital Gains (Crypto Settlements) Using the Excel Template by Quicko

If you have multiple crypto transactions, you can upload them all at once using the Excel Template by Quicko instead of adding each settlement manually. 

Steps to Upload Crypto Settlements

  1. Navigate to File > Capital Gains > Crypto.
  2. Click Add Crypto.
  3. Select Upload using Excel Template.
  4. Enter your Exchange Name and Account ID, then click Save.
  5. Open the account and click Upload Excel Template.
  6. Download the Excel Template.
  7. Fill in the Excel template with your crypto transaction details.
  8. Save the file without changing its format.
  9. Upload the completed Excel Template and click Import. Once you upload the report, you will need to review and then save and continue.

Note: After the upload is complete, Quicko will process and import your crypto settlements. If any settlements have warnings, you'll see the total number of warnings on the Review page. You can download the Error Report to view the exact issues and make the necessary corrections.

Quicko will validate the uploaded data and automatically calculate your capital gains or losses.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Use only the Excel Template downloaded from the upload screen.
  • Do not modify the column names or the file format.
  • Review the imported transactions before filing your return.
