Yes. In the case of companies/banks having branches at different locations needs to apply for separate TAN for each branch. The name and location of the branch or the designation of the person responsible for deducting/collecting tax, whichever is applicable, should be clearly given in the application for allotment of TAN. Also TDS Return for each branch who deducts the TDS needs to be filed within prescribed due dates.
