Income that is not taxable under any other head of income and cannot be excluded from the total income, is chargeable to tax as "residual income".


It includes interest income, dividend income, exempt income, and any other income.



Steps to add the "others" income:

  • Tap on the Filing tab (the second last icon) from the . 
  • Tap to work on your tax return.
  • Tap on the '+' icon on the lower right hand side of the screen, then on the others.
  • Select the type of income and enter the details
  • On the next screen, you can see the income details.
