The Income Tax Department has made it mandatory for a taxpayer (from AY 2015-16) to disclose details of all bank accounts held in India (including in joint names) at any time during the financial year, including details of those which were closed during the year.

Steps to add Bank details on Quicko

  • Navigate to You (taxpayer's profile) from the bottom nav
  • Tap on Bank Accounts under the Personal Details tab
  • Enter details of your
    • Domestic Bank Account
      • IFSC
      • Name of Bank
      • Account Number and Type
    • Foreign Account (If applicable)
      • Swift Code
      • Name of Bank
      • Account Number
      • Country
  • Tap on Save

1. Add multiple bank accounts by tapping on Add Bank Account. However, in case of only one bank account, it shall be marked as the Refund Account by default.
2. Ensure that your bank account is pre-validated to receive your income tax refund.
