A tax computation report is a detailed excel report that gives a comprehensive view of the information entered by a taxpayer to prepare an ITR.
This report consists of complete information in the following sections:
Personal details
Income Tax Return details
Income details under various heads
Deductions
Taxes paid, TDS & TCS
Loss matrix
Computation of Income
Additional details: Advance tax/ Self Assessment tax & Interest details
Steps to Download the Computation Report
- In the Filing tab, navigate to Incomes
- Tap on View your Tax Computation
- Tap on the down arrow, next to Tax Computation Report
Note: The report is prepared as per the regime selected by the user and the computation eligibility will be as per the rules of these regimes.
