Permanent Account Number or PAN is a unique identifier issued by ITD, it’s also required to onboard onto Quicko. Once onboarded, your activities (including tax filing) on the platform are linked to your PAN. Hence it is not possible to change your PAN. 


Here are a few reasons why you may want to change your PAN 

1. Added PAN details of a family member

If you have added someone else's PAN to your account, you can update the email address linked to the account by following these steps:

  • Navigate to Profile > My AccountNavigate to Profile > My Account

  • Go to My Profile> Communication DetailsGo to My Profile> Communication Details

  • Update and verify the email by entering the OTP.


2. Added incorrect PAN


If you have mistakenly entered incorrect PAN details while setting up your account, you will have to delete the account and create a new one.

  • Click on Profile icon > My Account 
  • Go to Settings and click on Delete AccountGo to Settings and click on Delete Account
  • Sign Up with the correct PAN

Deleting your account will permanently delete all associated data
