Only resident Indians are required to report their foreign bank accounts in their India tax returns.


Steps to Add a Foreign Bank Account


  1. Navigate to Profile Icon > View Profile
    Navigate to Profile Icon > View Profile 
  2. Go to Bank Accounts > Add Bank Account
    Go to Bank Accounts > Add Bank Account 
     
  3. Choose the option Add ManuallyChoose the option Add Manually

  4. Select type as International Bank Account
    Select type as International Bank Account

  5. Add the required details i.e. Country, Swift Code, Name of Bank, and Account NumberAdd the required details i.e. Country, Swift Code, Name of Bank, and Account Number


Refunds will only be credited to an Indian bank account that has been pre-validated on the Income Tax portal.
