The Income Tax Department has made it mandatory to file a Tax Audit report along with a DSC.
To file ITR with Tax Audit
- Apply for DSC in order to authenticate your identity electronically
- Download DSC Utility from the e-Filing Portal
- Register DSC: You are required to register the DSC on the IT Portal.
- Approve Tax Audit Report: Once your Auditor has filed the Tax Audit report, you need to accept/reject it from your Income tax portal account using DSC.
- Upload ITR: You can submit the ITR on the e-Filing portal by uploading the JSON file downloaded from Quicko and e-verify using the DSC.
Note: Users filing ITR 3 via Quicko who have opted for a tax audit, will have to e-file their return on the Income Tax portal.
