Importing intraday and F&O trades from Zerodha

Importing intraday and F&O trades from Zerodha

If you're trading in futures, options, or engaging in intraday trading on Zerodha, you can easily import your gains or losses under the Business & Profession section for tax filing.

Steps to Import Trades from Zerodha

1. Navigate to File > Business & Profession > Add Business

2. Choose Trading Securities – Intraday and F&O

3. Click on Import from Investment Apps >Zerodha

4. Log in to your Zerodha account securely
5. Once connected, your income details will be automatically imported

How your F&O data will be imported:

  1. F&O buy value, sell value, turnover and expenses will be fetched from Zerodha Tax P&L Report>Tradewise Exits’ sheet> “F&O”, “Currency” and “Commodity” tables.
  2. Intraday buy value, sell value, turnover and expenses will be fetched from Zerodha Tax P&L Report>Tradewise Exits’ sheet> ‘Equity - Intraday’ table.
Notes
F&O expenses on the Tradewise Exits might not always match with the expenses on the “F&O” sheet as the F&O sheet would also have expenses for open positions towards the end of the FY.
