e-Invoicing via IRP
APIs connected to GSTN’s Invoice Registration Portal (IRP) enable real-time e-Invoice lifecycle management, including:
- IRN Generation – Submit invoice payloads to obtain an Invoice Reference Number (IRN).
- IRN Cancellation – Cancel previously generated IRNs within the allowed time window.
- Signed JSON / QR Retrieval – Retrieve IRP-signed JSON and QR code for downstream use.
- PDF Rendering at ASP Layer – Generate human-readable invoice PDFs incorporating signed data and QR codes.
E-Way Bill APIs
E-Way Bill (EWB) APIs help automate goods movement compliance across states and territories, including:
- EWB Generation – Create new E-Way Bills for consignments.
- Validity Extension – Extend validity where permitted under GST rules.
- Updates – Amend key fields such as goods details, origin/destination.
- Cancellation – Cancel E-Way Bills when shipments are aborted.
- Vehicle / Transporter Updates – Update vehicle numbers or transporter details during transit changes.
