Add Foreign Bank Account

Add Foreign Bank Account

With increasing global mobility, individuals often hold bank accounts in multiple countries due to work, investments, or cross-border business activities. If you're a resident Indian, you must report your foreign bank accounts in your Indian tax return.

Things to keep in Mind

  • Tax Reporting: Only resident Indians are required to report foreign bank accounts in their Indian tax returns.
  • Refunds: Any tax refunds will only be credited to a pre-validated Indian bank account on the Income Tax Portal.
